the hair 10 December 2008
You are all very kind to wonder how the haircut went = very well, as in it was very relaxing and quick enough and so on, the results are both good and bad in as much as you’d be hard pressed to see a difference – I regard this as a triumph whereas the Hubby hoped for a CHANGE and, lord help us, short hair – I don’t know why, but he quite likes me barnet short…I find it that a little severe and a tad TOO middle-aged (for me) and, most importantly, hard to manage. Anyhow it’s in good nick and in spite of my reports to the contrary there is no discernible grey…
The pork products I was querying in Tesco yesterday are still on display today – don’t know if that means they’re safe or not selling or what…the Irish Government and the European food safety types tell us no matter what amount you ate of the toxified stuff you’ll be FINE – surely not utterly and totally fine??? Anyhow, rashers will be back soon. Only thing is I have never seen SO many photos of SO many CUTE pigs…
My new cooker arrives in the morning and in preparation for same the kitchen floor is being tiled…in the afternoon…after 6 weeks of warning – I dread to think how it would be if I didn’t have great builders, which I genuinely do…still, there is the nagging feeling that I can never, in my profession, put off an opening night, say, whereas here…well, what have we have been rehearsing for again?
