Went to a theatre show tonight that I liked more than the others in my company – or was more tolerant of it, is probably a better way of putting it. Anyhow, we got to discussing things we’ve been to, or others have been, and their experiences and she related a great story that she heard Bill Bailey tell. He was at a Whitney Houston concert and there was a big delay before she came on – an hour, actually. Eventually she sashayed on and crooned into the mike ‘hi, I love you all’ and the huge man beside Bill simply said ‘sing, bitch!’
In reference to the RETRO stuff from yesterday – let’s remember all the BAD shaggy perms while we’re at it…I still shiver, I have a feeling…Impulse, anyone?
