A (new?) visitor to the site emailed to say that I shouldn’t blog about mundane things and whereas I’d love to have philosophical insight each day of my life and pass all that on I am in fact usually surrounded by the mundanities and trivia of life – and not sure that those aren’t also the texture that makes us who we are…Accordingly, today’s ordinariness is that I am trying all sorts of solutions (quite literally) to remove dark stains from the loo. I have tried cola (but it was the end of a plastic bottle of the stuff and probably wasn’t fizzy enough?) and next I’m off to buy alka seltzer which comes recommended as a good ‘shifter’.
