ariel and alice 23 January 2011
I may have been chosen yesterday by a pair of cats – the rumour is that (perhaps) I chose them but I rather think it can never truly be that way when it comes to us and them. They are shy sisters, a year and half to 2 years old, called Ariel and Alice and there are pictures of them looking cross on the Cats Aid website which don’t do them justice really. They arrive next weekend. Cats Aid have lots of hairies needing homes or financial assistance (for instance the group feeds a lot of feral colonies and attempts to capture and spay those wild ones too). They are quite rightly fussy about where their animal charges go, as its all about the cats – proper order. I am DELIGHTED that myself and Rich have passed muster. Our ladies arrive next weekend. Weirdly our last 2 were a black cat (Snubby) and a blue (The G Cat) but it’s a coincidence that these are also those same colours – there the similarity ends, and Ariel and Alice have their own personalities for sure (and for all we know they may have other names too!)
