relic 8 February 2008
I had a lovely chat with Patrick from Loose Women today in advance of appearing on Monday and he rightly pointed out that the letter L may never be done with me…Loose women, you see…
We also talked a bit about how it’s coming up to the 10th anniversary of the last episode of FATHER TED, of course, as it’s a hot topic at the moment, and I was saying that I wouldn’t trust myself or others to attend the TEDFEST as I would be killed with kindness (and, let’s face it, drink/sociability). He fully agreed and posited the notion that I’d be like a relic to all attending. I am quite tickled by that idea, although a relic is usually an old and wizened bit of tat (well, in fact I am beginning to think I qualify majorly for all of the above). And from now on I may torture my( imaginary) husband with offers of ‘a rub of the relic’
