“Given the issues of the seeming omnipresence of the letter L, I thought you might be interested to know that apparently there’re some languages that either don’t have, (or have different values for) the letter L, like Japanese or some dialects of Chinese. Though it’s quite probable that you already knew this.
Also, as a result of a compulsive urge, I’ve just bought as many of your books as I could get hold of, and though this combined with a student budget means I won’t have money for food for a while, I reckon it was a good move.”
